Frazier talks recruiting

Five-star Keith Frazier had a solid game at the Thanksgiving Hoopfest and updated his recruitment afterwards.

Five-star shooting guard from Dallas (Tex.) Kimball, Keith Frazier started his season off with a bit of a setback, but still big things are expected from Frazier and his teammates this season. The 6-foot-5 guard is one of the best scorers in the nation, and one of the premier players available in the 2013 class.

The No. 19 overall prospect, Frazier combines athleticism with great length and an ability to really shoot the basketball, and he is hoping for a big senior season.

"I think we need to play harder as a team and play better defensively," said Frazier. "I was okay, but I have to do more for my team."

He continued, "We are just trying to win a championship, but we have to play harder as a team in order to do that."

Frazier waiting through the early signing period, and will now sign late. He says it is all about timing with his decision.

"I'm just waiting on the right time," he explained. "Whenever it feels like I am ready is when I will decide."

Frazier continued about his recruitment, "Basically it is Arizona, Texas A&M, Texas, and SMU recruiting me the hardest."

Right now Frazier says no school has found a way to standout in his recruitment.

"They all basically just say that they want me and that I can be a big part of their program," said Frazier. "All of the schools basically say the same thing."

For now Frazier is focused on his season and doesn't have any visits planned, but he does know what will put one school over the top in his recruitment.

"Whoever is the most loyal and whichever school I feel most comfortable playing my game is where I will go," he explained.
