2014 Intro: Ar'Mond Davis

Ar'Mond Davis, a junior wing from Tacoma (Wash.), gives us some early thoughts on his recruitment...

Ar'Mond Davis, 6-4 JR SG Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln, is an intriguing young prospect with a good basketball body and solid skill set.

I spoke with Davis recently and he said three schools have been showing a fair amount of interest.

"Portland, Utah and Boise State have been the main ones," said Davis.

I asked Davis if any school stands out for him at this time.

"Maybe Utah, because they're in the Pac-12," said Davis.

Davis talked a little about the factors he'll consider when picking a school.

"Playing time, what kind of league they are in and the weather," said Davis. "For the most part, I think I'd like to stay in the west, although I haven't seen any schools in the east yet."

Davis said another Pac-12 program was his favorite when he was younger.

"I liked Washington State when I was growing up," said Davis.

Davis doesn't plan on making a decision anytime soon.

"I'll probably decide during my senior year," said Davis.

Davis said he has a cumulative GPA of 2.6
