Frazier set to take two visits

Keith Frazier is ready to jump into the recruiting process. He's schedule two official visits over the next three weeks.

Things have been fairly quiet on the Keith Frazier front.

Now Frazier, a five-star guard out of Dallas (Tex.) Kimball, is ready to start taking official visits.

"He's supposed to visit Texas this weekend," Dallas Showtyme coach Erven Davis told "Then February 2nd he's supposed to be going to SMU. After that there's nothing else schedule. Then he might be looking at Texas A&M."

Could he decide relatively soon?

"If he sees what he wants, he might decide then," Davis said.

"He's been recruited since he was in the 9th grade," he added. "I think he's getting to the point where I think it'll be sooner rather than later. I don't think it'll go all way to the April. I could see him getting done pretty soon."

Davis said Texas, SMU and Texas A&M are the main schools involved. There are, however, three other schools that are trying to get him on campus for visits.

"Texas Tech, Auburn and Oregon are showing some real interest as right now, but I think he's wanting to stay closer to home," Davis said.

Frazier is currently regarded as the No. 2 shooting guard and the No. 19 overall prospect in the 2013 recruiting class.
