The 6-foot-7 forward scored 17 points and reeled in a game high 19 rebounds in St. Rita's big win at the Hoop Hall Classic. St. Rita coach Gary DeCesare said Law has taken his game up a notch
"He's played really well," DeCesare said. "His versatility is really, really incredible. He's rebounding the ball. He's making shots and he's playing defense. He had 19 rebounds and a double-double. He's been really performing at a high level."
What does he attribute his improvement to?
"Working hard," DeCesare said. "I think guys are starting to get it. We got a lot of knowledge on our staff and sometimes you're talking to walls, but I think he's getting it."
Law's effort on the glass was impressive. He was active and used his athleticism to try and grab every rebound in and out of his area.
"I really try to push myself and coach DeCesare tries to tell us what to do when we aren't scoring," Law said. "Offense isn't really everything in basketball."
According to Law and DeCesare he has picked up recent scholarship offers from Harvard, Virginia Tech, Providence, DePaul, Florida State, Oklahoma and Dayton. He said he's also heard from Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Iowa and Creighton.
"I'm really starting to get offers, but I'm really trying to focus on this high school season and then college second," Law told Scout.com.
According to DeCesare, Law currently has a 4.0 GPA.
