Jalen Lindsey is looking at nine schools, with a few others still in contention.

Jalen Lindsey is focusing on nine schools.

According to Drew Maddux, of Nashville (Tenn.) Christian Presbyterian Academy, Lindsey is still considering Vanderbilt, Tennessee, North Carolina State, Auburn, Providence, Florida, Louisville, Ohio State and Mississippi State.

Among the schools cut from contention were Missouri, Georgia Tech, DePaul, Memphis, Cincinnati, Florida State and Alabama.

Maddux also told that LSU, North Carolina and Kentucky are still involved and actively recruiting Lindsey, but they have yet to offer.

Lindsey, a five-star prospect, is also switching from the Georgia Stars to the Georgia Stampede for spring and summer ball this year.

Lindsey ranks No. 25 overall in the 2014 recruiting class.
