Lyle talks Ohio State visit

Ohio State was the latest school to get a visit from five-star prospect JaQuan Lyle.

It has been a busy year for Evansville (Ind.) Bosse product Jaquan Lyle. The five-star point guard not only has been putting up huge numbers on the court, but he has also been paying close attention to his recruitment. For Lyle that means taking unofficial visits, the latest being to Ohio State.

So far this season Lyle has been to places like Indiana, Louisville, and Illinois, and over the weekend the Buckeyes got their turn to impress the nation's No. 12 overall prospect.

According to Lyle the trip went well, and he came away impressed with what he saw during his time in Columbus.

"It was cool, just an awesome environment," said Lyle. "The crowd was really into the game and backed the team. Aaron Craft is the best on ball defender I've ever seen in person and plays hard all the time Deshaun Thomas also has a lot of freedom in the offense and I like that about how they play.

Aside from seeing the game between Ohio State and Indiana, Lyle also got a chance to talk with the coaches and see all the facilities.

"Coach (Greg) Paulus showed me around and told me what they have to offer and Coach (Thad) Matta made it clear to me that they really want me."

The next visit for Lyle looks to be to Tennessee. After that look for Lyle to focus on the state playoffs in hopes of getting his team a state title.
