At 6-foot-10 with good natural timing block shots, excellent feet, and the ability to run the floor, Wilkins is someone who is in demand on the low block. The class of 2014 doesn't have a ton of centers available, and with that Wilkins has pulled in numerous high-major offers.
Wilkins, who has been described as the team's most important player, is the key defensively for La Lumiere while his offensive game is also coming along. On the year Wilkins is averaging 11.6 points and 12.7 rebounds per contest for the Lakers.
Before the recent rash of offers Wilkins had also picked up an offers from Bradley, Massachusetts, and VCU to go along with interest from Dayton, Xavier, Purdue, Michigan State, and several other programs.
Currently Wilkins is ranked as the No. 21 center in the class of 2014, and someone who will be watched closely to finish out this year as well as during the spring when he suits up in the EYBL with Spiece Indy Heat.
