Hawkins to know more on Friday

Kentucky already has seven commitments in their 2013 recruiting class. Could they add another on Friday?

There's been plenty of speculation surrounding Dominique Hawkins' recruitment lately.

The 6-foot-1 shooting guard, who led Richmond (Ky.) Madison Central to a state championship, currently has scholarship offers from Western Kentucky, Morehead State and others, but is waiting word from Kentucky.

"We think we will know something tomorrow," Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. told Scout.com. "We've just been told we should know something tomorrow."

"I'm still undecided right now," Hawkins told Scout.com.

At this point, Hawkins is waiting for the call from Kentucky. During the Kentucky Boy's Sweet 16, Hawkins called Kentucky his "dream school."

Although there has been speculation of a possible press conference on Friday, Feldhaus says at this point there isn't anything set in stone.

"There really isn't a plan," he said.

Hawkins is regarded as a three-star prospect by Scout.com.
