Chandler Hutchinson, 6-5 SF Mission Viejo (Calif.) High. Hutchinson has a good wing body, although he's not filled out just yet. He's a very good passer and showed a nice feel in the game I saw. He didn't look to score much, but he's got very good ball skills overall and a very nice upside.
Chimezie Metu, 6-8 C/PF Lawndale (Calif.) High. Metu is a great-looking post prospect, with a terrific frame, long arms, good hands and very good feet. He didn't get many touches on Saturday, but he blocked several shots and showed off his considerable promise even on shots he missed. He doesn't really know how to play in the post yet, and he needs a lot of coaching, but he's got a very high upside if he figures it out.
Marquese Chriss, 6-7 SF/PF Pleasant Grove (Calif.) Elk Grove. A very long and bouncy forward, Chriss was impressive in a limited viewing Saturday. He was active defensively, blocking several shots and playing with very good energy. He knocked down a jumper that looked decent and was active around the basket. I'm not sure yet about his overall skill level, but there's considerable upside due to his body and athleticism.
Armani Collins, 6-4 SG San Francisco (Calif.) Stuart Hall. Collins has a good wing body and solid skill set. He's got a low release on his shot, but made several jumpers in the game I saw. He's another wing to watch in 2015.
Derrick Bruce, 6-0 PG Corona (Calif.) Centennial. Long and slender with a good frame, Bruce certainly looks the part. His shot is something of a set shot, but he knocked down a couple in the game I was watching. He's got good quickness and generally made good decisions. He's far from a finished product, but he has some potential.
Lonzo Ball, 6-3 PG Chino Hills (Calif.) High. Ball had another very strong showing on Saturday, hitting several deep jumpers and making a few very nice passes. He's got good quickness, wiry strength and a very high skill level. His decision-making can be a bit spotty at times, but he's only a freshman. He's one of the elite prospects in the class of 2016.
