Longhorns add another late pledge

Texas has been adding depth on the wing, and the latest prospect to join the fold is Martez Walker.

There aren't many players who can score more in bunches than Detroit (Mich) Pershing standout Martez Walker. The class of 2013 wing decided to wait out the recruiting process and then on Tuesday made his commitment.

"I did commit to Texas," said Walker. "I just really liked the coaches and the school."

He continued, "For me it was about getting out and seeing new things. I was tired of being home and wanted to be somewhere like Texas."

Walker is known for his ability to really make the three point jumper, and is capable of really getting hot from deep. Also he is a tough kid who will rebound and defend from the small forward spot.

He is a three-star prospect and was one of the best available prospects in the 2013 class.
