Keion Kindred, 6-2 PG Compton (Calif.) Dominguez, doesn't look like your prototypical point guard, but he showed this summer that he has the ability to play the position. Strong and explosive, Keion also has the requisite ball-handling and passing ability, as well as a good understanding of the game.
We talked with Keion yesterday, prior to his game in a local tournament, and he told us that he has a long list of schools he's considering. He's received offers from Tulsa, USC, UTEP, Minnesota, SMU and Oregon. Additionally, he's hearing from Michigan St., Georgia Tech, Temple and Providence.
We asked if he had a leader and Keion said, "No, not really."
We then posed the following question: If you could choose one school to offer you that hasn't so far, what school would it be? Keion replied, "Michigan St. and Georgia Tech. They're both recruiting Jarret Jack and myself and I'd be very interested in an offer from either school."
Keion has told us in the past that he's a solid student and he'll have no problem qualifying.
