Less than two weeks after parting ways with Baylor, Woodson, a 6-foot-8, 255-pound big man, settled on Josh Pastner and Memphis for his college destination.
Woodson confirmed the news.
[I committed to Memphis] because coach [Josh] Pastner has been recruiting me since the beginning and coach [Aki] Collins recruited me from Marquette and I know some of the players from Lebron camp," Woodson said.
Woodson, a standout at Huntington (W.V.) Prep, is ranked the No. 14 center and the No. 99 recruit overall in the 2013 class.
With the addition of Woodson, Memphis now has five top 100 prospects headed their way in the 2013 class. He joins Austin Nichols, Nick King, Kuran Iverson, Rashawn Powell and three-star Memphis native Markel Crawford.
Woodson was the last recruit in the 2013 class to make his college choice.
