"I am learning a lot of post moves and it has been fun being here," said Onuaku of the camp.
After a solid high school season, Onuaku had a breakout spring, and he is expecting even more out of himself and his team during the month of July.
"So far things have gone well," said Onuaku of his AAU season. "We lost a couple of tournaments, but during July I don't think we are going to lose any games."
He continued, "I think my game is coming along well. I am getting a lot better and a lot smarter."
Recruiting wise several schools continue to make a strong run at Onuaku.
Maryland has been on a roll recruiting the area and the DC Assault program in general, and Onuaku likes what he sees from the Terrapins.
"It is a good school," said Onuaku of Maryland. "I like the coaching staff and it is close to home."
Xavier is another program that has been showing him significant attention, and continues to be a presence at his games.
"I know that they want me and their coaches have been calling me a lot," said Onuaku of the Musketeers.
For now there is no set timetable for a decision, but Onuaku says that he has a good idea of what he is looking for in a school.
"I am looking for a school with a good education, a good coaching staff, and a place where I can play early," said Onuaku.
Onuaku is currently listed as a three-star prospect.
