Holston cuts list to six

Troy Holston has his list down to six and is looking to set up visits in the near future.

Troy Holston is down to six schools.

According to Jordan Fair, Holston's high school coach at Oldsmar (Fla.) Christian, Holston is down to South Florida, Kansas State, Miami, Alabama, Marquette and Memphis.

"In the next week or so he's probably going to decide where he's going to take officials," Fair told Scout.com. "I'd give it a week timetable before he maps that things out."

"He's not in a rush to make a decision, but at the same time he wants to get it down to focus on getting back to what he did to get here," he added.

Fair did say that Holston is planning to go to a pair of elite camps.

"He's going to go to South Florida and Miami's elite camp," Fair said. "I believe he's going to take unofficially there as well."

At 6-foot-4, 195-pounds, Holston is a talented wing prospect that has built a reputation as a shooter.

"He's the hardest working kid I've ever coached," Fair said. "He's a high level shooter, but not only can he shoot it, but he scores it at a high level. He's very athletic."
