Terrell has 10 on list

Four-star Jared Terrell has his list at 10 schools.

The list for Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy wing Jared Terrell is set at 10 schools. An athletic and strong wing, Terrell recently trimmed his school list down after what was a very strong run during July with Expressions Elite.

"It was a good July and summer overall," said Terrell. "I know I have gotten better. I could have done some things better, but that is just a part of learning and playing the game."

Terrell has been working hard on his game, and said a few areas in specific have been the focus.

"I have been working on my ball handling, being more of a guard, and knocking down open shots," said Terrell.

Recently Terrell cut his school list down to ten. Cincinnati, Connecticut, Florida, Miami, Oklahoma State, Providence, Rhode Island, St. John's, UCLA, and Xavier are all in the mix for Terrell.

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie was a fixture at Expressions Elite games this July, and according to Terrell it is a good thing to have the head coach there.

"Coming in to making my decision is good that the head coach comes and watches me and that he knows what I can do and can't do," said Terrell of Ollie's presence. "He isn't going off of someone else's opinion."

Another school that has been heavily involved for a while is Cincinnati. The Bearcats have been in with Terrell since the beginning and he likes the school.

"Coach (Darren) Savino is a really good dude," Terrell explained. "He calls me and texts me a lot. We stay in contact and have built a good relationship."

Also the Florida Gators made sure to be at the games in July and continue to stay in contact.

"We stay in contact a lot," Terrell noted. "Between me and (Abdul-Malik Abu) they text us a lot and we stay in contact. I like Florida a lot."

For now Terrell is in no hurry to make a decision and he feels as though he will make multiple visits before issuing a commitment.
