"I thought July went well," said Sherman. "I improved a lot on everything. I kept my weight down, got more athletic, and I think I helped my team more. Overall July was really good and I had a lot of success."
Recruiting wise Sherman is beginning to get things going with three visits scheduled.
The Miami Hurricanes have done an excellent job of re-stocking their backcourt in this class, and now they are hoping to add some quality bigs as well. Sherman says he is looking forward to visiting the ACC school.
"Miami is just a different place, it has a lot of people from different cultures," said Sherman. "I am into that and I like that, so I think it would be a good spot."
Also the Wichita State Shockers have been very consistent in their pursuit of Sherman. After a run to the Final Four, Sherman is excited to take a look at the program.
"I am just looking to see if I bond and connect and that visit," noted Sherman of Wichita State. "I am just looking forward to seeing if I relate to everybody and fit in."
At the moment Sherman has no timetable for when he wants to decide, but on the visits he is looking to see how he fits in.
"I am just looking at the programs in general," said Sherman. "I want to go to a place where I will fit in with the program in general and see if they can help prepare me for the next level."
Currently Sherman is listed as the No. 23 power forward in the country.
