Paschal Chukwu committed to Providence on Thursday.

Chukwu, a 7-footer out of Fairfield (Conn.) College Prepatory, pledged to Ed Cooley over a host of schools, including St. Joseph, according to a source close to the situation.

Providence now has a pair of top 100 recruits in their 2014 recruiting class. Chukwu joins four-star wing Jalen Lindsey to make up their current class.

Chukwu, a four-star recruit, is regarded as the No. 8 center and the No. 63 overall recruit.
