On Campus: Weekend of Aug. 31st

Baylor, Louisville and UCLA will each host multiple top 100 recruits. Who else is taking visits this weekend? Check out our first edition of On Campus.

Baylor hosting Okafor, Jones

It doesn't get any bigger than this for Baylor.

Jahlil Okafor, the nation's top recruit, and Tyus Jones, Scout.com's No. 4 prospect, landed in Waco (Tex.) on Thursday and their visit goes with Scott Drew and the Bearts goes through Saturday.

Okafor and Jones have been the talk of the recruiting world because of their possible package deal. The two highly regarded prospects will also take visits to Kansas and Duke together. They will both visit Kentucky as well, but on separate weekends.

Okafor is also planning to visit Arizona, Michigan State, Ohio State and Illinois, while Jones has already taken a recent unofficial visit to Minnesota.

Louisville to host top 100 recruits

Louisville already has a pair of top 35 recruits on board in their 2014 class. But they'll look to add to that this weekend when they host three available recruits in the top 100.

The top recruit headed to campus is Trey Lyles. Louisville began prioritizing Lyles when he decommitted from Indiana last August. Louisville's main competition for Lyles is Kentucky. Florida is also involved, but not thought to be a serious contender.

Lyles' AAU teammate James Blackmon is also expected in town, just a day after visiting Kentucky. Blackmon is one of the nation's premier shooters. He decommitted from Indiana on August 8th.

Four-star center Chinanu Onuaku will also be taking a trip to Louisville this weekend. The trip is his first of three scheduled official visits. He also plans to see Cincinnati and Miami. Louisville offered Onuaku following July.

Louisville commit JaQuan Lyle, who played AAU ball with Lyles and Blackmon, is also expected to be on campus.

Key weekend for UCLA

This weekend may be the biggest weekend of Steve Alford's young career at UCLA, as the Bruins will host two top 50 prospects -- Quentin Snider and Trevon Bluiett.

Snider is the highest ranked of the two. He's taking his first visit since decommitting from Louisville. The trip is an official visit. He also has visits planned to Connecticut and Illinois.

Bluiett, a four-star small forward, already has strong ties to the UCLA program. Current UCLA assistant Ed Schilling was Bluiett's high school coach at Indianapolis (Ind.) Park Tudor for his first three years of high school.
