Bluiett makes his pick

The UCLA Bruins have landed a very strong pledge in four-star wing Trevon Bluiett

Four-star wing Trevon Bluiett had been rumored to be favoring the UCLA Bruins for the last few weeks, and on Monday those rumors proved to be true. Coming off of an official visit to the Pac 12 school, Bluiett made his choice and picked the Bruins.

At 6-foot-5 and around 200 pounds, Bluiett is one of the best wing scorers in the country. He is an elite shooter and someone who has a great feel for the game.

That is why UCLA, Arizona, Butler, Xavier, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois, and others all offered him a scholarship.

However at the end of the day allure of UCLA was too much. Bluiett's old high school coach, Ed Schilling, was added to the staff at UCLA under head coach Steve Alford in the off season, and that combined with the history and tradition at the school led Bluiett to commit.

"It just felt right when we were out there," said Trevon's father, Reynardo Bluiett. "Everything just felt great and we knew UCLA was the best spot for Trevon."

Currently Bluiett is ranked as the No. 12 small forward and the No. 40 prospect overall.
