Bearcats land four-star

The Cincinnati Bearcats have landed a solid piece to the puzzle in 2014.

The Cincinnati Bearcats have landed a key piece to their 2014 recruiting class. Linden (NJ) center Quadri Moore has picked the American Athletic Conference School.

Multiple sources close to the situation indicate that Moore selected the Bearcats on Tuesday afternoon following an interesting day in which rumors spread early about him picking the school.

However no commitment was made until the afternoon, and in the end the Bearcats beat out Seton Hall for his pledge.

A four-star center, Moore is someone with a lot of upside. He got into the best shape of his life this spring and summer, and ran the floor better. Also he is a very solid outside shooter who can stretch the floor from the center position.

The next step for Moore is to be more physical and become a better rebounder, because despite being 6-foot-8 and 280 pounds, that is not a strength of his game.

Moore is the second pledge for Cincinnati in the 2014 class joining junior college center Coreontae DeBerry.
