Riley LaChance has adjusted his school list and visit schedule. The solid Wisconsin guard was expected to visit Baylor next weekend, but according to the StarTribue he will travel to Minnesota instead to meet with Richard Pitino and the Golden Gophers.
The Bears reportedly are off his list, and now Iowa — which recently missed on long-time target Tyler Ulis to Kentucky — has jumped in with an offer and could be on the verge of setting up an official visit of its own. Though they haven't offered, Michigan State has upped its pursuit as well.
LaChance enjoyed a fine summer and performed well at the CP3 camp in August. His recruitment has expanded in part because of his play versus national competition, and also in part because relatively few high-major point guards remain undecided.
He has maintained adherence to a fall timeline despite the new interest, and expects to ink during the November signing period.
