Scout.com's 19th ranked center prospect in 2014, Lammers chose Georgia Tech over offers from Marquette, Miami, Stanford, Baylor, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, St. Louis, Texas A&M and Texas-San Antonio.
"On my visit I really liked Georgia Tech," Lammers said. "The coaches all seemed like great guys and I thought I really bonded with the players. I want to major in Engineering and you can't beat Georgia Tech when it comes to their Engineering school."
Lammers cited the Georgia Tech coaching staff as one of the reasons that he committed to the Yellow Jackets.
"Coach (Billy) Schmidt recruited me very hard, starting in January, and did a great job," he said. "Every coach on the staff seems like a great guy. Coach (Brian) Gregory came down to see me and proved how committed he was to recruiting me."
Georgia Tech now has two commitments in 2014, as Lammers joins Top 100 shooting guard Tadric Jackson in the class.
