Oubre took his only official visit this past weekend to Kansas. At times in his recruitment, he also had interest from Florida, Connecticut, Georgetown, Oregon and UNLV.

Just a day after his official visit to Kansas, Oubre participated in USA Basketball, where he was arguably the top performer at the event. Oubre shot the ball with consistency from long-range and mixed in strong drives to the rim.

Oubre's performance was particularly impressive, as he was competing against multiple 2014 five-star recruits and cream of the crop in the 2016 class.

This is significant news for Kansas, who is involved with a few other elite prospect still available in the 2014 class including, Jahlil Okafor, Myles Turner, Tyus Jones and Cliff Alexadander.

Alexander visited Kansas this past weekend. Okafor, Scout.com's No. 1 prospect, and Tyus Jones will visit the Jayhawks together the weekend of October 18th.

Oubre is currently ranked No. 11 overall and No. 4 at the small forward positions.
