Eubanks is drawing interest

Three-star wing Kobie Eubanks has a lot of schools coming through to see him.

There aren't many talented wings left on the board, but one who is, is Kobie Eubanks. The Florida native is now at Centereach (NY) Our Savior New American, and his recruitment continues to pick up.

It was a change going from Florida to Long Island, but now Eubanks is comfortable and feels he is getting better in his new digs.

"It is great to be here," said Eubanks. "It is a different transition with everybody being so good here I have to continually work harder, and I am pushing myself to do that."

He continued, "I am working on my handle and focused on playing hard so I can help my team out all the time."

Recruiting wise Eubanks says some top schools continue to show him a significant amount of attention coming off of a strong July showing with Each 1 Teach 1.

"Recruiting is still going well," said Eubanks. "I am open to a bunch of schools like Kansas State, Missouri, George Mason, Pittsburgh, Memphis, and a few other schools."

At this point no visits are set in stone, and Eubanks doesn't even have a firm timetable for a decision, but currently nothing seems imminent.

"I am sort of planning on signing late, but I am not positive yet," explained Eubanks.

At this point Eubanks is still wide open in the process, but he does have a few things that he is looking for in a school.

"Academic wise I am definitely looking at that, and just a place where I can get better so I can achieve all of my goals," noted Eubanks.

Currently Eubanks is a three-star prospect and has a chance to be one of the more heavily recruited wings during the season if he indeed opts not to sign during the early signing period.
