Back in September, Florida State was excited to land a pledge from touted junior college point guard Josh Gray. But reports surfaced on Monday that Gray had reconsidered and would thus place himself back on the uncommitted market.
On his Twitter account, Gray retweeted other posts declaring his decommitment. To this point the Odessa (Texas) JC floor general's decision remains unexplained, but he's definitely a real talent and will be a fine addition for whatever school signs him.
Gray first signed with Mississippi State out of high school, but he obtained a release after Rick Stansbury and the Bulldogs parted ways. He played for Texas Tech last season but, due to the Red Raiders' own coaching carousel, transferred in the spring.
Florida State still holds a commitment from another big-time juco, powerful forward Cinmeon Bowers.
