Alexander kept many guessing until the very end. With the rare combination of size, strength, athleticism, and an elite motor, Alexander had his pick of schools. At the end of the day it came down Memphis, DePaul, Illinois, and Kansas before choosing the Jayhawks.
"After careful consideration I have decided to continue my education at the University of Kansas," said Alexander on ESPNU.
"They will develop me and get me to where I want to be to get my game to the next level," Alexander said about Kanas. "I just think it will be the best place for me and my family."
This is a huge commitment for the Jayhawks. Kansas now has two of the top six prospects in the class with Alexander joining fellow five-star Kelly Oubre.
