Junior Donovan Mitchell was one of the underclassmen that took advantage of the stage this year.
Blessed with a strong, chiseled frame and very good athleticism, Mitchell, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard, proved tough to contain in transition and attacking the rim.
"I would say that's my strong suit, transition and getting out on the break and being able to attack the basket," Mitchell told Scout.com.
What is he working on?
"Shooting," he said. "I took maybe one jump shot this weekend, which is something I usually don't do. I'm just trying to go to the basket every play, but sometimes it's to a fault. That's what I need to work on the most."
"Recruiting is going really well," Mitchell said. "I have a bunch of schools from the Big East, ACC, Big Ten and Big 12."
"I went to Providence midnight madness," he said. "That one was pretty fun. Last year I went to Providence and B.C. and went to Maryland and UConn too."
Despite the early interest, Mitchell isn't close to making his college decision.
"Definitely still early," Mitchell said. "Especially since I came here. That changed everything a lot."
