Foye Likes Two Big East Schools

Randy Foye is one of the top players in New Jersey this year. He wants to run the point in college and is looking at two local schools. Both schools are members of the Big East.

Villanova, Seton Hall Making Headway

Newark (NJ) Eastside guard Randy Foye says he was done an injustice in July. "I played every position in high school. In AAU, I'm the point guard. At ABCD Camp, there was a misprint and they put me at the two guard," Foye said. Obviously, he wants to play the point and he wants to be known as a point guard.

Though Foye disputes the shooting guard slot, he had some moments at ABCD where he was thriving in the role, putting up a lot of points in a short time period. Nonetheless, he's going to concentrate on running the show.

Foye says that Villanova and Seton Hall are his two favorites and that both have offered. He says Villanova would like him to commit now. However, there could be a hangup. Our sources indicate that he has some work to do in the classroom if he's to get eligible as a freshman. He hasn't taken the SAT so he can't take an official visit just yet, but does he really need to being so close to each school?

"If I go to Seton Hall, I might start out at the two," Foye said. If I go to Villanova I'll be a point guard."
