Latest with Cunningham

One athlete that has been making a lot of waves in the Chicagoland area is Morgan Park senior Josh Cunningham. He is one of the few uncommitted senior prospects in the area and you can check out the latest on him here.

Chicago Morgan Park hoops prospect Josh Cunningham is a three star prospect, and is taking his recruitment slowly.

"I haven't been anywhere lately but I have been on a few visits, I have been to Oklahoma, Bradley, Iowa State and I think that is it," Cunningham said.

Some of the things that stood out to Cunningham on those visits were clear.

'I liked the atmosphere of the team, they brought me in and they treated me like a family and a part of the school," Cunningham said. "That is what I am really looking for in a school."

And the schools that Cunningham has been hearing from the most lately?

"Creighton, Iowa State, Bradley and DePaul are the schools that I hear from the most," Cunningham said. "When I decide I will be looking for a team that treats me like a family. And a coaching staff that is like the one at Morgan Park, teammates that will stay on top of me and won't let me go down. Only help me go up."

And for some advice about the process, Cunningham has looked to Depaul freshman and his former Morgan Park teammate Billy Garrett Jr.

"I just saw Billy, and we had a good conversation. He is doing really well right now, and I wish him the best of luck," Cunningham said. "The advice I got from him about my college decision was just to take my time, and choose there right school."
