Quick Hitter: Cliff Alexander

Scout.com checks in with future Jayhawk Cliff Alexander during his big senior season for Chicago Curie.

One of the top hoops prospects in the Chicagoland area, five-star Cliff Alexander has had a pretty huge senior season.

"My season has been about my team, coming out on top with wins. Just getting those wins has been special and trying to work towards a state championship," Alexander said.

Alexander has some pretty big goals for his senior season, and he has been living up to the hype.

"I have been playing big, trying to average 30 points a game and get player of the year," Alexander said. "Plus my teammates have been playing really well, we just have to keep that up."

Alexander is headed to Kansas next year, and is pretty excited for the move.

"I am most excited to get down to Kansas, be coached by Bill Self and just winning a national championship," Alexander said.

And what will he bring to the Jayhawks?

"I will bring a hard working player, a big motor and someone who makes big rebounds," Alexander said.
