Sharma more than made up for his time out, scoring 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting and blocking a handful of shots in the second half of Northfield Mount Hermon's double-digit win.
"I think I've been more aggressive this year going after rebounds and going after blocks and stuff," Sharma told Scout.com. "I've also worked on my outside shooting a little bit. I hit a couple threes last game and one this game."
Sharma, who stands 6-rfoot-11, is an impressive athlete. He runs the floor well, is a very good leaper and has nice touch around the basket. As he noted, he's also capable of stepping away from the rim and hitting jump shots.
College coaches have taken notice of Sharma this year. He said things have picked up recently.
Sharma spoke highly about his trip to Wisconsin, which took place the first weekend of January.
"I really enjoyed it," Sharma said. "I really liked all the coaches there and the players. It was a little cold."
"It was kind of a last minute decision," he said about the trip. "It all worked out that weekend. But yeah, I think they are high on my list and I'm high on their list too."
What other schools is Sharma high on?
"I really like Wisconsin, Illinois, Vanderbilt and there are a few other schools," he added. "I talk to Creighton a lot too."
Boston College is also heavily involved in Sharma's recruitment.
"B.C. is recruiting me a lot and I do like them too," he said. "I don't have a list, but they are in the mix."
Sharma doesn't intend on taking any more official visits during his junior season.
"I'm definitely not going to take any more during the season," he said. I'm going to wait until the spring or summer."
