Gill Caesar thinking visit

Five-star Teki Gill Caesar still has a decision to make on when to enter college, and is thinking of one visit in particular.

Five-star guard Teki Gill Caesar is in the middle of an excellent stretch of games for Huntington (WV) Prep. The Canadian native is taking a long look at all of his options college wise, and is thinking of one visit for sure.

Since returning from Christmas break Gill Caesar has been on a tear, and he feels he is excelling on both ends of the floor.

"I think I have been playing consistently," said Gill Caesar. "I am doing well on offense averaging about 18 per game, and then on the defensive end I am doing everything coach wants of me and giving maximum effort."

Recruiting wise top schools are definitely showing him significant attention.

"It has been the same schools mostly," noted Gill Caesar. "Michigan State, Kansas, Florida State, Memphis, West Virginia, and that is about it."

One of the interesting stories with his recruitment is that Gill Caesar could enroll either after this year as a member of the 2014 class or stay in 2015. At this point Gill Caesar remains undecided on what he will do, however he said all of the schools recruiting him are open to him coming in either class.

When asked about any potential visits, Gill Caesar said, "Right now I am planning to visit Michigan State, but I am not sure when."

The Spartans are likely to lose Gary Harris to the NBA Draft, and if he does move into the 2014 class, Gill Caesar sees an opportunity to come in and make an impact at Michigan State.

"I would have the ability to make an immediate impact," said Gill Caesar. "I know I would have to prove myself, but I would try to go out and play hard every day. It could be a good opportunity for me."

For now Gill Caesar says he is focused on his season, but coming the spring it will be interesting to see what direction he goes in recruiting wise. Does he head to college right away or remain in 2015.
