Ahmad talks Indiana offer

Four-star prospect Esa Ahmad picked up a big offer on Sunday afternoon.

One of the top players in the state of Ohio in the 2015 class is Esa Ahmad. The 6-foot-7 power forward is a four-star prospect and has seen his stock go up this season. Now Ahmad has added a new Big Ten.

"Yes sir, Indiana just offered me," said Esa Ahmad.

The offer is a big one for Ahmad who is leading his Shaker Heights (Ohio) program there the OHSAA State Playoffs right now.

Though he isn't an elite athlete, Ahmad makes plays as a skilled power forward who makes shots out to the three point line and then also uses his high basketball IQ to make plays off the dribble for himself and others.

Indiana is the latest school to offer joining programs like Xavier, Dayton, West Virginia, Clemson, and Maryland.

About the offer from Indiana, Ahmad said, "It just shows that all of my hard work pays off. I have been working hard all year long and it is showing by getting offers like this one."

Currently Ahmad is in no hurry to make any kind of college decision, and is hoping to make visits soon to West Virginia, who recently he said was recruiting him the hardest, as well as Maryland.

Ahmad will run with All-Ohio Red this summer, and is looking forward to showing off his diverse skill set on the EYBL circuit.
