The 2015 prospect is taking his time with his recruitment after that he feels was a successful junior season.
"My goals were to be the main leader on my team, getting them going and keeping them involved and I feel like I did a good job of that," Walker said.
"I wanted to get first in the league and not third and make a decent run in CIF so that was just alright, but it's definitely motivation to work harder for next season."
As a player, Walker feels he made progression.
"I think I made huge steps in my ball handling and my strength," he said. "I've been lifting a lot and working on my ball handling and shooting. I feel like I made strides in those areas."
Walker listed Stanford, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Harvard, U.C. Irvine, UCLA, San Diego State, Cal Poly and USC amongst the schools who did a good job showing up and recruiting him during his season.
"I'm starting to feel comfortable with most of those schools," he said.
Before Walker gets anything done, he wants to make sure he sees several of the schools on his list.
"I want to take my five officials before I make a commitment, but I don't have any plans," Walker said.
When Walker does make a decision, he has an idea of what the school he chooses will have to offer.
"It's going to come down to the relationship I build with the head coach, because that's most important," said Walker. "Also, how I feel about the schools academically and socially, as well as my future teammates."
