Cunningham sets announcement

While most everyone's attention in Chicago this week is directed toward the McDonald's All-American festivities, some recruiting business has transpired as well.

Unsigned senior Josh Cunningham confirmed via his Twitter account that he'll announce his college choice next Wednesday.

A three star prospect at Chicago's Morgan Park high school, Cunningham told Evan Daniels earlier this month that he would decide from among Creighton, Bradley, Indiana, Minnesota, South Carolina, Iowa State and Oklahoma.

Cunningham competed for the Mac Irvin Fire on the EYBL circuit, where he obviously ceded the spotlight to Jahlil Okafor and Cliff Alexander. Nevertheless, he clearly earned his own admirers and attracted an impressive offer list.

His stats for the Fire were solid, including 21 points versus Team Scan at the Peach Jam. He also led Morgan Park to the state championship, further establishing himself as a big game player. He's one of the best uncommitted prospects on the board.
