Announcement delayed for Cunningham

The final schools will have to wait a little longer for Josh Cunningham's final decision.

It was thought to be a Friday decision for one of the best unsigned forwards in the class of 2014, however the finalists for Josh Cunningham will have to wait a little bit longer. Now the decision won't be until next week.

"Josh isn't going to be deciding on Wednesday," said high school coach Nick Irvin. "He is going to make one final visit to South Carolina. He wanted to go there this weekend, but it is a dead period, so he will make that trip next weekend instead."

Irvin continued, "I told him that Frank (Martin) has been a lot of the games, and he should definitely visit because they clearly want him."

Along with the Gamecocks, Indiana, Bradley, Creighton, Oklahoma, DePaul and others have been involved with Cunningham.

While the decision won't be on Wednesday, Irvin said they do know when an announcement will be.

"We will do it on April 18," said Irvin. "That way it is a Friday, he will have time to think about the trip, and then after he announces we will be able to celebrate him making his commitment. Josh is getting tired of all this, but we want to make sure he makes the right decision for him."

With Cunningham being one of the best unsigned players in the country his recruitment has really heated up recently, and now it looks like we will have to wait a little bit longer to find out where he is headed to college.
