Lang sifts through options

Former Virginia Tech signee T.J. Lang is starting to reel in high major interest.

T.J. Lang received a release from his Letter of Intent at Virginia Tech a week ago. Since then, his recruitment has progressed.

The 6-foot-8, 180-pound wing out of Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen said Auburn and Mississippi State are coming to see him this week, while Oregon State is trying to get him to their campus for a visit.

"Alabama, UNC-Wilmington and Tennessee called my dad," Lang told "If they offer I will take a visit there. Illinois State, Ole Miss and a few more [have called]."

Lang has take just one official visit to date. His plan is to use all of his remaining visits and set them up in the near future.

"I'm going to start deciding on visits at the end of this week," Lang said. "As of now I'm not sure which ones I'm going to visit just yet."

"As of now I want to take all 4 of my remaining visits," he added. "But who knows if I visit a school and feel like it's the best fit I will commit again, I'm just going to pray about it and when I feel the time is right I'll decide."

A three-star prospect, Lang averaged 19 points and eight rebounds a game as a senior.
