Pritzl starts spring off strong

There is no doubt that Brevin Pritzl really improved his game during the high school year, and his recruitment looks like it could pick up.

Three-star guard Brevin Pritzl from De Pere (Wisc) could really emerge this spring and summer. Running with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors, Pritzl started off his spring well and is hoping to continue to open eyes.

At almost 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Pritzl is a very good athlete who is capable of finishing at the rim or hitting from deep. He is a near dead eye three point shooter, and with his added athleticism and strength college coaches are taking notice.

"Green Bay, Milwaukee, Drake, Toledo, Northern Illinois, South Dakota State, and North Dakota State have offered," said Pritzl. "Also I am hearing from Wisconsin some, Creighton, Lehigh, and Xavier."

When it comes to visits, Pritzl is hoping to take some around the end of the summer.

"I will probably make my visits late in the summer after the tournaments in July," said Pritzl. "I definitely want to visit Xavier and Creighton."

Pritzl already made one unofficial trip to Xavier, and he came away impressed with what the Big East program had to offer.

"I have been to Xavier once I really liked it there and I want to see it again," he explained. "They have a good coaching staff and good facilities."

For now though Pritzl is set to have a big spring. After a strong start at the NY2LA Swish N Dish, Pritzl thinks his team can continue to make an impact.

"I'm hoping to win some tournaments," said Pritzl. "We have a good team. We have a little different makeup from last year, but we still have a chance to be very good."
