Chase Jeter has narrowed his school list down to six and isn't far away from a college decision, he announced on Twitter on Thursday.
Jeter also said that he was "planning on a commitment before July."
Scout.com's evaluation of Jeter:
Jeter is a big, relatively athletic kid with a good frame and long arms who has steadily made the progression from prospect to player. He has wide shoulders and should end up being a very strong center. He should be able to gain quite a bit of weight while not losing athleticism.
Jeter has good hands and when he gets the ball with his back to the basket he can use a drop step or up and under and now tries to dunk everything he can around the basket. He rebounds very well and scores a lot of points on the offensive glass.
He's developed into a good shot blocker as he's gotten stronger. Jeter won't drift too much to the perimeter but can a jumper off the catch from the elbow. He's a strong passer for a post. Jeter plays hard every time out and has become progressively much more confident in his skill set.
Jeter has made consistent progress since his freshman season and is a no-brainer Top 25 prospect at this juncture.
