Schools expected to evaluate Stewart

Elijah Stewart, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Los Angeles (Calif.) Westchester, will have a number of schools watch him this week.

One of the top available wing prospects in the 2014 class is expecting a number of schools to swing by his school this coming week.

Elijah Stewart, who was recently released from his Letter of Intent to LMU, will host Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Texas, USC, Cincinnati, Boston College, Virginia and Oklahoma State this coming week.

Since reopening his recruitment, Stewart has taken an unofficial visit to USC. That visit took place last weekend and Stewart was accompanied by his mother.

Stewart has also done in-home visits with Texas and Oklahoma State.

Stewart would like to take some official visits, but he's two weeks away from making that happen.

"That's what we are planning right now," Stewart's AAU coach Lionel Benjamin told Scout.com.

"He won't be able to take any visits until May," he added.
