Thompson hosting schools

Several schools have been by to see 2015 shooting guard Stephen Thompson, Jr. recently. What's the latest in the four-star prospect's recruitment?

It's been a busy couple weeks for 6-foot-3, 160-pound Torrance (Calif.) Bishop Montgomery shooting guard Stephen Thompson, Jr., who has had several coaches in town to see him.

According to the four-star prospect's father, Stephen Thompson, Sr., the 2015 shooter has hosted San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher, USC head coach Andy Enfield, Colorado head coach Tad Boyle, Arizona State head coach Herb Sendek and Gonzaga head coach Mark Few for in-home visits.

New Mexico head coach Craig Neal and Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak have been by Bishop Montgomery to see Thompson, Jr., while he also was able to take an unofficial visit to Stanford on April 18.

Thompson, Jr. has also picked up new offers from UNLV and Creighton, with interest from Wake Forest, Texas and Notre Dame.
