"It has been a great spring," said Rakocevic. "I have a lot of recruitment and it has been great playing with this team and trying to win titles."
At 6-foot-9 with legit skill and good athleticism, it is no surprise that Rakocevic is finding himself high on a lot of schools wish lists after seeing him during the April evaluation period.
He continued, "I plan to visit Indiana, Xavier and Florida sometime in May. I will be making a visit to Indiana on Thursday."
On the trip to Indiana, Rakocevic is hoping to get a better idea for the coaching staff and see what the program has to offer.
"I am looking for the relationship the coaching staff has with the guys and how the coaches are on the court," he explained. "Also I will be taking a close look at their facilities and their academics."
While Rakocevic is beginning to gain information on Indiana, he has a lot of it when it comes to Illinois. The Illini offered during the season, and he likes the direction that the program is going.
"Illinois is a good program and Coach (John) Groce is a great coach," said Rakocevic. "I think they have some good young players and once those guys mature I think they are going to do real well."
Also the Wisconsin Badgers have done a good job of building a relationship of Rakocevic, and he is glad to be high on their wish list.
"They made the Final Four so that is big time and I like their program," explained Rakocevic of Wisconsin. "They have a great coaching staff and they are going to be good so I like them a lot."
At this point Rakocevic says he is in no hurry to select a school and is currently figuring out all of his options and seeing who is going to come forward with an offer.
