Rorie to Oregon

Ahmaad Rorie has made his final college decision, announcing his commitment to Oregon on Thursday.

Oregon has added an important piece to its 2014 recruiting class, landing a commitment from 6-foot, 170-pound Tacoma (Wash.) point guard Ahmaad Rorie.

Rorie announced his commitment to Oregon at a press conference.

Originally a member of California's 2014 class, Rorie received a release from his Letter of Intent following the retirement of Golden Bears head coach Mike Montgomery.

A four-star point guard, Rorie will provide Oregon with a good mix of scoring and shooting from the position.

Rorie joins JaQuan Lyle, Michael Chandler, Ray Kasongo, Dwayne Benjamin and Casey Benson in Oregon's 2014 class.
