Butler had to fend off serious overtures from Dayton and Davidson for Fowler, but in the end he just felt that the Big East program was best for him.
"I just really liked it when I visited all of these times, and Hinkle Fieldhouse is one of the greatest places to play basketball," said Fowler of Butler.
"Academically they met what I was looking for which is engineering, so I felt it was a perfect fit," continued Fowler.
Possessing good size, reliable hands, and a solid jump hook, Fowler is someone with long term potential. He has battled injuries since the high school season, but Fowler feels Butler's style of play is perfect for him.
"I think I am going to fit in really well," said Fowler. "I feel like I will fit in right away and that I can get early playing time."
This is the first pledge for the Bulldogs in the 2015 class, and it is a solid start for Miller and his staff.
