Major interest in Lowe

Versatile guard Trey Lowe is someone who has seen his stock rise this spring.

One of the breakout players of the spring has been guard Trey Lowe. The Ewing (NJ) product has stepped up with Team Final, and now his recruitment is really beginning to expand.

At around 6-foot-4 with very long arms and solid athleticism, Lowe has the versatility to play all over the backcourt with Team Final. So far this spring he says things are going well for him.

"Things are going real good," said Lowe. "I think I have picked things up, and college wise I have picked up a lot more interest."

When it comes to the total picture of his recruitment, Lowe is very happy with what has come his way.

"I now have Villanova, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Georgetown, and a lot of other big time schools interested in me," said Lowe. "I have offers from Temple, Seton Hall, Rutgers, and St. Joe's."

One of the schools that has been on Lowe the longest is Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights extended an offer during the high school season, and he has built a solid relationship with them.

"I am close with those guys and it is a home state school so I like them a lot, and it was great to get that offer," said Lowe.

Villanova has also picked things up recently with Lowe, and his AAU teammate Donte Divincenzo is doing a little recruiting along with the Nova coaches.

"Donte has been trying to push me to Villanova a lot," said Lowe. "The coaches are telling me that they would love to have me and to stay in touch."

Before the end of the summer Lowe hopes to visit Rutgers, Villanova, and Georgetown, though at this point he has no firm timetable for a commitment.

As of right now there is no specific plans for a decision, but Lowe does know what he is going to look for in a potential school.

"Basically I am looking for a school where I will be able to play early on, and also a place that just feels like home," explained Lowe.
