Offers coming in for Bridges

Four-star Miles Bridges has been one of the most productive players in the class of 2016 this spring.

Combo forward Miles Bridges has had a monster spring. The Huntington (WV) Prep product has played very well with The Family on the AAU circuit and then looked good at the recent Nike Elite 100 Camp. Now Bridges is continuing to pick up offers.

"The spring has been great," said Bridges. "I have been picking up offers and just having a lot of fun."

He continued, "I think I have gotten stronger and built off of my athleticism and just gotten better."

At 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds, Bridges is an extremely strong forward who can play either on the perimeter or the interior. With that numerous college coaches have come forward and offered him a scholarship.

"I have an offer from UNLV, Michigan State, Iowa State, and Kansas State," said Bridges. "Those are the main schools that have offered me so far."

A native of Flint, Michigan, Michigan State has been involved in Bridges recruitment for a while, and he says the Spartans are a team he likes.

"I really like Michigan State," said Bridges. "I am really close with Mateen Cleaves and some of the other Flint guys who have gone there, so I really like them a lot."

Another school that offered Bridges and has been recruiting him hard is Iowa State.

"I like Iowa State," said Bridges. "Coach (Fred) Hoiberg is a good coach and I have been talking with Coach (Cornell) Mann for a while, so they are a good school."

For now Bridges is taking everything fairly slow with the process and just seeing who is interested in him and who is going to offer. When it does come time to make a decision Bridges knows what he will be looking for in a school.

"I am just looking for a good coaching staff with good fans, and a program that wins," said Bridges.
