Marquette adds big
Under Buzz Williams Marquette made a living recruiting the state of Wisconsin, and now again they are doing that under Steve Wojciechowski. The Golden Eagles on Tuesday nabbed their second commitment in the class of 2015 in Matt Heldt. Heldt is a skilled and mobile 6-foot-9 post player who is running this summer with the Wisconsin Spartans. He has long been a target of Marquette, and Wojciechowski offered Heldt after seeing him during the month of April. At his size with his skill level, Heldt fits in nicely on a roster that stacked with athletic and talented guards and wings. Now Heldt will make his home in the Big East and add to the post depth that Marquette has. This is the second commitment for the Golden Eagles in the class. Heldt joins one time AAU teammate and fellow Wisconsin native Nick Noskowiak in the class. The duo gives Marquette a very solid start to the class as they head into the July evaluation period.
