Sam Miller makes his pick
As a junior at Washington (DC) Gonzaga, Sam Miller started to really break out. The 6-foot-8 power forward showed off solid athleticism, good skill, and a desire to rebound and that made numerous programs take a close look. One of the schools that made him a priority from nearly the beginning of the high school season was Dayton, and the Flyers continued to pursue Miller through the spring and summer. Dayton boss Archie Miller was a fixture at his games, and on Wednesday morning he pulled the trigger and committed according to Team Takeover AAU coach Keith Stevens and Miller himself. "I like how it's got everything I need," said Miller of the Flyers. "It's a place I can get better over four years but still play early and I can see myself having a lot of fun there too. Also there was one other huge factor that the Flyers had working in their favor with Miller. "I also have family in Dayton which no other school on my list had," noted Miller. Miller should immediately come in and provide an ability to score down low as well as toughness for the Flyers who are loading up on the fontcourt in this class. By committing Miller becomes the third member of Dayton's 2015 class. He joins in-state forward Xeyrius Williams and Ryan Mikesell as commitments for the Flyers.
