Moore at five offers

Justin Moore has had a pretty active recruiting process as an underclassmen, with five schools already extending offers.

One of the better point guard prospects out west in 2016 is 6-foot-3, 155-pound San Diego Mission Bay's Justin Moore.

The rising junior feels as if he's expanded his game since his sophomore year.

"I've gotten more mature since the high school season," Moore said. "I'm becoming a better leader and I want to win every game.

"My jump shot has gotten a lot better and I'm playing really hard. I'm trying to get my weight up and keep working on my all-around game."

Moore listed offers from San Diego State, USC, Georgia State, San Diego and Utah State, with a handful of coaches he's developed the best relationships with.

"At San Diego State, Justin Hutson and coach Dutch (Brian Dutcher), Tony Bland at USC and coach (Darryl) LaBarrie at Georgia State," said Moore.

For now, developing as a player takes priority over recruiting for Moore.

"I'm wide open," he said. "I'm just trying to get better every day; I'm not really worried about college right now, just playing and getting better."

Moore's plan is to make a decision after next year's AAU season, and he'll have a handful of qualities he'll be looking for in a school.

"I'm looking for best fit, coaching staff and somewhere I can make it to the next level," he said.
