Logwood picks Lobos
The New Mexico Lobos got some excellent, though expected news, on Saturday when three-star forward Sam Logwood committed to the school. Logwood, who attended La Porte (Ind) La Lumiere, will now head to New Mexico as a key addition to the class. At 6-foot-6 and 205 pounds, Logwood brings high level athleticism and versatility to the basketball court at all times. He is a near elite defender on the wing, and has show improved ability on the offensive end as well with his jumper and his ability to finish through contact. Originally Logwood signed his Letter of Intent with Auburn, but got out of that and now will suit up for the Lobos starting this season. "I am officially committed to New Mexico," said Logwood. This commitment is big because Logwood will give the Lobos significant versatility on both ends of the floor with his ability to play on the wing or slide down and play the power forward position. Logwood is considered the No. 34 small forward in the class of 2014.
